Election Day Meditation
Tuesday, November 5th starting at 6:00 pm Eastern Time
As the US elections approach, many people around the world have been feeling anxiety and uncertainty about what the future holds. For many, election day may be unsettling. Our meditation practice teaches us to be still in the face of all life’s challenges and ecstasies, its anxieties and uncertainties, to settle into being unsettled. We vow as Peacemakers to be touched by both the joys and the pain of the universe.
Please join us for online meditation as the election outcomes become clear. We will sit three periods, beginning at 6:00pm, 6:30pm, and 7:00pm US Eastern Time. Geoff O’Keeffe will lead these periods, ending each with a short chant or prayer.
